Hello everyone... if there still is anyone reading my blog! Let's just say this is the VERY last thing on my to-do list each day. I was reading the last blog I wrote which was Emmie at 6 weeks... boy things have changed! Now at 4.5 months old, she has SO much personality! She's such a chatter box and is so drawn to people! She loves flirting with people, smiling, laughing and watching everyone! A magical thing happened when she turned 4 months. It was like we had a new, happier, baby! Naps are no longer a dreaded event for Mom. She's able to put herself to sleep now by sucking her thumb (she won't take a paci) and she can nap an average of an hour. Now, we still have some work to do to stretch that time out a little... especially now that's she's getting older and wants to be awake longer between naps. Nights are still awesome- bedtime is around 8 and then usually she's hungry around 4 but then goes right back to sleep until 7 or 8am. We couldn't be happier!
On a sad note, our pediatrician is leaving the practice to be at home with her kids. So sad! We love her and will miss her greatly!! Speaking of pediatricians... Emmie had her 4 month shots lats week! It is so hard to hold her while they stick her with 3 shots! It's the worst thing ever!
Milestones to date include: sucking thumb, rolling over (both ways), smiling, imitating, head control, "standing" while holding her up, blowing "raspberries", sitting supported, playing with hands and feet
